Our intention is to provide you with fantastic camper van hire and that includes the very best of service. As well as loving VW campervans we also love Scotland for her wild places, food, culture and beaches.
Thanks for the hire of the van and for making the hiring process so straightforward and honest.
A Wild Campers experience will set you up to experience the very best that Scotland has to offer. Golden beaches, stunning walks and unbelievable wild camping spots. Fantastic fresh food and great cultural experiences. It’s all there and we’ll make sure you find the very best of it.
Our free SatNav is loaded with all of our favourite ‘wild’ camp spots and many of Scotland’s best paid for sites. In addition Wild Campers has a ‘Privilege’ membership of The Camping and Caravanning Club which means you can enjoy their campsites in Scotland at members rates.
Our camper van comes with free satnav. On there you’ll find our favourite wild camping spots as well as the best of Scotland’s ‘wilder’ paid for camp sites. We also thought it would be good to put favourite walks, beaches and places to eat on there. So we did that too.
And we created a manual which goes with it so that when you’re on the road you can browse and decide on where your next stop is. This is a work in progress – being added to all of the time. Can help in your planning but shouldn’t completely take it’s place!
Some of our favourite spots are on the Western Isles. Our modern T5 is perfect for Scotland’s ferries as it gets on at the same price as a car. Longer motorhomes get charged a lot more. And we go to Mull a lot which means we buy tickets in bulk. We pass that saving on to you. And we’ll make sure you know about some of Scotland’s very best excursions like sailing on the stunning Birthe Marie pictured here. If you’re planning on going to Mull please let us know well in advance to take advantage of the reduced ferry fares.
During the build up to your holiday we’ll provide as much information as you need. We’ll also provide you with all you need to know about wild camping in Scotland.
Building your own itinerary is a big part of the adventure. And there’s nothing more magical than coming acorss a fantastic undiscovered spot. At the same time a bit of inside knwoledge can be helpful if and when you want it. We’ll be there before the trip to offer as much advice as you like. And during the trip you’ll have our fully loaded GPS at your finger tips.
On pick up day we’ll be there to make sure you are fully briefed and comfortable with the camper before you go. We’ll also send you links to handy video tutorials if you choose extras like the Vango Drive Away awning.
