2017 Season & Rates

In 2017 Sorley will be available to rent from Friday March 31st through until Saturday 4th November. Sorley is charged at £100 per night except during July and August when the rate is £120 per night. The minimum hire period is six nights. Pick up and drop iff is limited to Fridays and Saturdays.

In 2017 our vans will be available for pick up and drop off from either Craignure (Isle of Mull) or Oban. For bookings of 14 days or more we will also offer pick up and drop off in Glasgow.

Deposit
In order to book you’ll need to pay a deposit of £200 or 25% of the booking, whichever is higher. This deposit is refundable up to eight weeks prior to your pick up day. You’ll be asked for the balance 30 days prior to your pick up date. There is no refund if you cancel within 30 days of your pick up.

Insurance
You’ll need to be between the ages of 23 and 75 to hire our camper van. On pick up day we will take a copy of your drivers licence (both parts) and of two proofs of address. All addresses must match. You need to have held your license for two years and we need to know about any points.

Security Deposit
We’ll also take a security deposit of £500 which is equal to the excess on our insurance policy. The deposit will ONLY be taken from your card should you damage the van or equipment. If you do not have a credit card you can pay the deposit by bank transfer.

Pick Up & Drop Off
On day one of your hire you can collect Sorley any time from 3:30pm. Sometimes this can be earlier by prior arrangement. Drop off is by 12 noon on the return day. During high season pick up / drop off is restricted to Fridays and Saturdays.

Bedding
The van comes with two double duvets and four pillows. No sheets or towels are included. These can be added as extras or you can opt to bring your own.

Extras
We offer a full range of extras including two awnings a bike rack, bedding and pick up / drop off from either Glasgow or Edinburgh airport. You can view extras and rates here.

Parking
We have one off street parking space available. There is also plenty of on street parking in the nearby area. Leaving your car in our yard or on the street is done at your own risk. You are also welcome to leave luggage / valuables in our workshop but again, this is at your own risk.
