Based on a 2013 T5 Highline Kombi he’s fitted out to the same high standards as Finn. In addition he has an automatic gearbox and cruise control. Sorley is pet free.*

It was clear that the interior modifications to the van were hand-crafted to a very high standard; much higher than in other vans that I had previously hired.

Sorley has twin captains seats that swivel round to face the back when you’re camped up. There’s air con, power windows & mirrors, reversing sensors and bluetooth for your phone or iPod.
In the back there’s a RIB seat with fully integrated triple point seat belts and headrests. This seat folds down very easily and quickly to become a double bed. The RIB system has a great reputation for both safety and comfort. And of course there’s another double when you raise the SCA High pop top. During the day the slatted bed folds up into the roof meaning you have full standing height. At bed time a one handed pull sets the bed up in seconds. SCA and Reimo are considered the best when it comes to T5 pop tops. There’s a Smev cooker and sink as well as a super efficient and quiet Weaco fridge with a 48 litre capacity and a 5 litre freezer.
To keep you cosy at night there’s a 2KW heater and black out curtains. And the 12 volt auxiliary power system means that you’ve got ample lighting. There’s also 12 volt car sockets, a USB charge socket and an inverter which means you can charge your own laptop or portable DVD player. And if you’re in a campsite you can plug in to 240 volt power.
All pots, pans and crockery are included. There’s also a teapot and a cafetiere.
For safety there’s a fire extinguisher as well as a CO2 detector.
Outside there’s a Fiama roll out awning to offer protection from the sun or, occasionally, the rain:) As optional extras we have the superb Vango drive away awning, a bike rack for up to four bikes, a Weber Smokey Joe BBQ and crisp, clean linen sets. We also offer transfers from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.

*Sorley is pet free apart from a very occasional visit from Peggy. Peggy never stays in the van, she always rides on the floor in the cab and ‘occasional’ literally means once or twice a year when there is no avoiding it! The vans are always valet cleaned but if you have a severe allergy then I’m afraid neither van can be guaranteed to be completely pet free.
