Campervan for hire in Glasgow

Stand out from the crowd in this retro classic. Shug spent his first fifteen years as a bakery delivery van in Glasgow. He came to us in 2018 with only 50K miles on the clock and an immaculate service history. We converted him in the winter of 2019 but have kept him as classic and as simple as possible.

We offer secure parking in Glasgow.

Shug is comfortable for two adults – but he has travelling seats for 5 and sleeping for 4. Two adults and two kids can be done!

There is a double in the pop top and an extra large double in the back of the van. We’ve kept Shug pretty simple – a great big double bed downstairs (which folds up to form three travelling seats) and drawers for storage. There is a twin gas hob, a 12 volt tap and a 50 litre fridge. There are plenty of 12 volt lights as well as USB charging points.

All pots, pans and crockery are included. There’s also a teapot and a cafetiere.For safety there’s a fire extinguisher as well as a CO2 detector.

As optional extras we have offer crisp, clean linen sets and a BBQ.

The VW Transporter is the perfect camper van for Scotland’s smaller roads and ferries. And in terms of T4 conversions Shug is about as good as camper van hire in Scotland gets.
